About
Like several Karoo church towns, Rietbron developed small three-room cottages used by farming families during communion weekends. Surviving nagmaal cottages are part of the village's distinctive built heritage and reflect the distances rural congregants once travelled to church.
Town history is an evolving local record. Additional archival sources, community accounts and photographs can help improve this article.
