Mokopane (formerly Potgietersrus) is a town in the Waterberg District of the Limpopo province, South Africa. Located approximately two hours north of Gauteng by road, the town serves as an agricultural and mining hub and a major thoroughfare for travelers en route to Botswana, Zimbabwe, and the Kruger National Park.
