Travel to the published coordinates using your phone or GPS. Follow existing paths and respect access restrictions.
Look carefully for the hidden container, sign its logbook and return it exactly as you found it. Bring your own pen.
Log the find on Geocaching.com. Share the experience without revealing the hiding place or disturbing the surroundings.
Check the official cache listing before setting out. Respect private property and opening hours, ask landowners or land managers for permission before placing a new cache, and never dig, damage heritage sites or disturb wildlife. Take water and sun protection for local conditions and tell someone where you are going when heading into remote areas.
Planning a local trail? Only use places with lawful public access or confirmed permission. Official caches must be submitted through the Geocaching review process; TownHub does not approve placements, reproduce private cache coordinates or claim that a local trail is ready.
