Artefacts dates the Nederduitse Gereformeerde Kerk to 1864 and 1908. The congregation archive says the 1905 jubilee decided to enlarge the church, finished in 1907, with a tower of about 60 m. That “tallest in the country” claim is disputed, including by the Toringkerk.
